Meet your tour guide at hotel. Safety brief for walking/local taxi tour. At 5 pm we will start walking to Chiang Mai Gate local market (south gate) to taste some local food, snacks. sold by street vendors. Continue walking through old city and stop for your main dish of northern dinner called “Khao Soi” at Heun Phen local restaurant. The restaurant is famous for their Khao Soi noodle curry. Lunch and dinner times can be busy with the restaurant serving variety of northern Thai cuisines. Heun Phen converts to a canteen-style eatery during the day and then transforms into a romantic restaurant by night. After that, walking to visit Wat Chedi Luang by night. Then keep walking to Chang Peuk Gate local market (north gate) and your choice of fruit shake or Thai dessert. Take local songtaew (red taxi) to flower market, walk around to explore local food (what local people eat), fruits, flowers and walk across Ping River to see Wat Gate Garam by night. Ended your trip at local bar by the Ping River (1 choice of beer or soft drink). After 10.5 km of walking, we will take local songtaew back to hotel (in town only) or your choice to continue drinking at local bar.

After breakfast. Transfer from your city hotel to the starting point (Three Kings Monument). Safety brief for walking tour and short brief about King Mengrai who established Chiang Mai with his two friends. Walk to City Art and Cultural Center to learn about Chiang Mai. The museum exhibits history of Chiang Mai, way of living and culture of the local since the prehistoric period. There are 15 halls categorized into chronological sequences; Prehistoric period, city establishing history, the rise and the dawn of city until Chiang Mai at present, intellectual way of wisdom life, and pride cultural identity of Chiang Mai people, presenting with high technology media, such as slide, video, computer program, Dioramas model, graphics board, and audiovisual displays. Continue walking to visit Wat Phrasingha. It is perhaps the second most venerated temple in Chiang Mai. It houses three main structures, the main attraction being the elegantly decorated Lai Kam assembly hall and its restored murals depicting the lives of locals hundreds of years ago. Here, its pagoda is Buddhist respective symbol for the ones who were born in Dragon year. Afterward, walking to Wat Chedi Luang, with a history that is over 600 years old, Wat Chedi Luang is a must-visit if you ever plan a trip to Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. The name Wat Chedi Luang translates to the Royal Pagoda or the Great Stupa Temple in English. The chedi (pagoda) ruins and the daily monk talks are worth the visit, but there is so much else to see at Wat Chedi Luang.

Depart from Chiang Mai city centre at early morning and drive to western side through mountain into the Khun Chang Khien, the research station and agricultural training center is used as a plot to study and experiment on plants such as coffee beans, peaches, persimmons, plums, avocados, macadamias and sub-tropical fruit tree. Khun Chang Khien is well-known as Nang Phaya Suea Krong tree bloomed in winter season weather locations and attraction for Sakura of Thailand. On the right time, you have a chance to trek along the road where full of many fresh pink flowers surrounded. After your adventure and take a fresh air breath, zip a signature coffee of village before continuing to nearby Hmong Doi Pui Village, where is a real eye-opener into the hill tribe’s traditional culture - here witness how locals continue to honor their lifestyles and traditions while the once-isolated village welcomes more visitors every year. Lunch at local restaurant along the way.
Continue your trip to the Bhubing Rajanives Palace, built in 1961 as royal guesthouse for prominent state visitor from aboard in different occasions. the he places turns to be one of tourism attractions exhibit the Multi-traditional Thai architecture house surrounded with romantic flower garden decoration. Last visit today is Doi Suthep, the mountainside temple is easily the most famous and most revered in the whole province. Every year, Buddhist pilgrims make the journey up by foot - with most making it to the top in around six to eight hours! Walk the 300 steps of the beautiful carved mythical Naga Serpent Staircase to summit, explore the architecture, statues, murals, and shrines all of which are nothing short of breathtaking.

Spend a day on the outskirts of Chiang Mai with this day trip to Mae Taeng. Depart after breakfast and take a scenic drive out to the countryside. Although just one hour from the big city, life moves at a much slower pace in Mae Taeng. First travel through Sri Lanna, one of the north’s most scenic National Parks. See Bua Tong, a three-tiered, cascading waterfall set amid the forest. After a rest, continue through the park to Mae Ngat Dam. Board a longtail boat and cruise across the reservoir to a floating restaurant. Relax and enjoy the views of the reservoir and its wild surroundings while dining on a delicious Thai meal. Having refueled, resume the exploration of Mae Taeng with a walk through an agricultural region. Pass by rice paddies, fruit orchards and other farms, encountering water buffaloes and oxen on the way. Learn about the farming methods used in the countryside and discover the variety of produce grown in the fertile soils of north Thailand. Spend the afternoon at ‘Three Generations’ village. Walk through the village, stopping to see artisans weaving baskets or families playing traditional music. There are many activities sponsored by the village project and the walk will provide a glimpse into life in the countryside (activities at village are subject to change without prior notice).

We will take you to drive up to the part of northernmost in Thailand which known as a land of outstanding natural beauty. Start with departing to Chiang Rai in the early morning and make a short break at Mae Khachan Hot Spring, stretch your legs and relax with the greenery scene behind you. Continues to visit a breathtakingly Wat Rong Khun which is known as White Temple where this completely white and majestic temple was designed and constructed by Thai famous Artist. Afterward, let’s find out the history’s Ancient City of Chiang Sean located on Golden Triangle area, you will pass through Wat Chedi Luang which you can walk and explore the temple in traditional Chiang Saen style. After lunch, visit the Private Opium Museum with the story and display about the opium trade in the past, plus you can absorb the panoramic view of Laos and Myanmar from boarding on the long-tailed boat along Mekong River.

After breakfast we are driving to the countryside through the mountains with stunning views to Doi Mae Salong visit 101 Tea Plantation is considered as the first large-scale tea plantation in Doi Mae Salong. The company also involves in the royal initiative to help the hill tribes. Previously growing and trading opiums, the hill tribes in the area are now working in the tea plantation and have a better quality of life. You will experience the aroma of aromatic tea. And the tea plantations are lined up step by step. Meet the people who take care the tea plantation, pick the tea leaves and enjoy a cup of tea.
Lunch is at a local restaurant before driving uphill to visit Doi Tung Royal Project and Mae Fah Luang Garden. Doi Tung Royal Project is a sustainable project founded by Princess Mother of King Rama IX aiming to support communities in Chiang Rai.
