It is so called because the floor consists of more than 5,000 silver tiles. There are also many Buddha statues, including a statue of solid gold, inlaid with more than 2,000 gemstones. Located here after the liberation of Phnom Penh in 1979, the Tuol Sleng Museum was a former school taken over by the Khmer Rouge in 1975 for use by Pol Pot's special security service. We will also stop at a bridge that was built by the Khmer more than 1,000 years ago. The bridge is in good condition and is still in use. Siem Reap is a bustling city located near the legendary temples of Angkor.
