Mr. Tapas Banerjee, our Managing Director has poured his heart out in this open letter to our esteemed guests where he has shared Trinetra’s feelings over the news that India Is Now Open To Tourists All Over Again. This letter is written with a tinge of emotion as we walk into a new dawn. Read to know his thoughts on how Trinetra Tours under his guidance, associated themselves with people who were in dire need of help during the peak of the pandemic. Mr. Banerjee, shares his optimism about the future of travel, and feelings towards his beloved Trinetra family.

Dear Beloved Friends,

Namaste and greetings from the Trinetra Tours family!

I take this opportunity to once again express our gratitude to you for keeping your thoughts, prayers and good wishes with us. Without your standing beside us we would not have been able to buoy over the trying times that challenged us in the recent times.

Please pardon me if this letter appears a bit silly. It is just that we are all super excited as we are thrilled to share with you that India Is Open To Tourists All Over Again.

There could be no better news than that made by the Indian government of resumption of issuing of tourist visas to seekers of India’s enigma, lure, legacy, splendours and nuances that go on to make India a unique travel destination. The Indian government has now considerably relaxed the Visa And Entry Protocols To India. However, the news of the Omicron virus has yet again disrupted travel plans. Hopefully, avid travellers and travel providers would surmount this challenge too.

Cherish and behold the magnanimous aura of an Indian vacation

The onset of Covid immeasurably devastated the lives of people who found themselves in the hospitality business. Also, our business is perhaps one of the noblest professions going around. Who are we other than merchants vending happiness to people and in the process making them friends for life ! Of course, in the bargain we make a living too ! What else can we ask for ?

However, the pandemic affected the travel fraternity the first and the hardest . When recovery and normalisation happened we were the last in the queue.  The trials and tribulations of the times will be great narrations to be shared with our grandchildren. However, Trinetra Tours kept their chin up at all times and tried to detach ourselves from the hardships and battles happening within. We chose to associate ourselves with people who were in dire need of help.

Our Mask Initiative helped overlooked artisans in remote villages to once again take to their craft and hand paint masks. These were bought off them and sold to our scores of guests around the world.

We also embarked upon a massive Mask Distribution Drive (watch the video below) to the poorest of the poor who no one thought about. These masks were paid and contributed by our esteemed guests. We educated them on the need for keeping themselves and others safe. This initiative impacted so many lives. Poor artisans found resources to sustain themselves and the marginalised living off the streets of Old Delhi were made to feel cared for and wanted.

Then, we endeavoured to help and support the needy by aligning with NGOs who were tirelessly helping people. We were amazed at the positive response that we received from our wonderful guests who supported and wholeheartedly participated in our efforts - a very loud shout out to all our guests and friends.

Collaborated With A NGO Called Harmony House and Associated ourselves with people who were in dire need of help.

We also used the downtime to communicate with our guests who had placed their faith upon us to reveal a dream vacation. The strength of their friendship was unfathomable. They gave us support, will to fight and motivation. We got to know so much more about them on a personal plain. When we are now seemingly out of the proverbial tunnel, we look back to these communications with moist eyes that I am not sure can adequately communicate the gratitude that our hearts experience. Inspite of the challenges and differences in race, colour and religion, it is amazing how the heart finds a way to connect and find succour.

Today, we can sense a new dawn beckoning us and awakening us from our nightmare. With all the humility at our command, we request you to come and join us to together enjoy the new sunshine of better days. Let us once again invite you to cross high mountains and deep oceans to arrive at India’s shores. Trinetra Tours will yet again be there bright eyed and bushy tailed  to greet you and reveal for you the known and the less known attractions of a civilisation that is as old as time itself. Also, with travel relaxation in the world, we are receiving queries and bookings for our Global Tours. We have had nearly 20,000 guests over the three decades travel with us . We are so proud to have retained contact with most of them including some from our first trip in 1991. Several of these guests came back to India a few times and recommended us to others. However, several of these guests also insisted upon us that we do trips to other countries too so that they could be assured of the Trinetra brand of service. How humbling and gratifying can this be for us? It is then that over the last 8-10 years we painstakingly tied up with likeminded partners all over the world. Our research team attended major travel shows as the World Travel Mart (WTM) in London and other very reputed travel shows attracting credible tour companies from all over the world.

Then, we also took references from our associate in America. We were very careful in choosing partners and ensured that they would carry our vision forward. The trust of our clients is most precious. We have conducted scores of tours outside around the world and with great success. References too can be offered.  These include trips to SE Asia, Myanmar. Africa, Middle East, Greece , Morocco, Turkey, The Americas , Baltic States, Europe and even Antarctica . 

 

Trinetra Tours is global and have successfully planned trips to every part of the world.

 

At this moment, I would be failing in my duties if I did not pause and yet again thank all our esteemed guests who gave us a sense of identity and dignity by appreciating and accepting what we most humbly brought to them in the way of serving their travel needs. Without their steadfast support we would have been faceless and washed away by the unforgiving currents of time.
